My name is Liz and I Love painting art, teaching art, and all the experiences art brings.

It took me years, almost my whole life, to know, learn, love, and most of all….believe I can create beautiful art. Life can hold you back from art, as mine did. Raising a family ,the sales job 9-5, giving power to the salary check, etc.. You know what I mean. Always pushing and living the grind of corporate America.

My new found joy for ART all started in St Thomas USVI. Believe it or not, there are only so many days you can lay on the beach. I started painting drift wood with acrylics to entertain my boredom. After Hurricane Irma devastated the island, we ended up moving to Orlando, Florida. I was unemployed for over 6 months which then gave me the opportunity to paint “without guilt”.

 

Then work took us to Palm Beach and I was right back to the grind. But I honored my days off with excitement of learning Alcohol Inks and....Boom! A passion developed! The more I explored, the more I wanted to learn. Passion!

So what does all this mean? Do what you LOVE! Listen to your heart, which is why I say “Art from the Heart”. Enjoy!!!
